Cured Sausage!
If you have ever been to northern Wisconsin and visited Cherryville which is between Ashland and Washburn, you know of Trinko sausage. A smoked and cured German style summer sausage. It’s been made there for 50+ years. It was a staple in all the local bars. The smoked and cured summer sausage from Swiss Meat & Sausage is virtually the same as Trinko. We stopped in a few days ago and sampled almost everything. Some good and some not so good, depending on your taste. Absolutely loved the smoked summer sausage. Picked up many links of the smoked sausage and a few other bratwursts. Recommend Swiss Meat and Sausage. Much better than the wurst house in Hermann.

Best hard sausage
We became acquainted with this shop and sausage when we visited Hermann MO. We love and purchase enough to get us by it online. Please keep making this as soft, moist sausages are in abundance and dryer sausages are hard to find!

OMG- it’s the best ever
Every time we visit Herman where my other spent all of his summers growing up we stop here to get this Summer Sausage. IMH opinion, it’s the best ever and I’ve tried a lot! Perfect spice blend and just the right amount of curing. I only wish we didn’t have to wait for our next visit as it can’t be shipped out of state. In between, we get Thuringer!

Best sausage ever!
My grandfather lived locally to this shop and every time we visited he would have a couple of these for us to snack on. It was something we always enjoyed and looked forward to when visiting. Now that he’s gone these sausages remain a tradition in our family for special get togethers to keep his memory alive. The taste is out of this world!

Great texture and flavor
Very good. Was looking for a drier, chewier, sausage that might resemble ones that my friend has made from deer meat. Well what do you know. This one is practically identical. Its a bit expensive, however.

Old fashioned German style Sausage
Best stuff ever... all sausage needs mustard seed... And this has it and the dry cure (imo) is the best. Love this Sausage, 5 stars plus... Oh the Bacon is Top Notch too
